Distillation Science Certificate

The Distillation Science Certificate prepares students with a strong set of skills to enter or advance in the distilling industry or related industries. Coursework is hybrid, in the evenings and on weekends to suit the schedules of working professionals. At 22 credits, the program is designed to be completed in just under one year. Topics include recipe design, spirit styles, tasting, distillery operations, distillery law, distillery management, professional equipment, quality control/assurance, among others. Students intern at one of our partner distilleries. Instructors are leading professionals in distillation.
