Students will learn how to create game objects and characters using Blender. Topics covered will include: 3D object manipulation, creating low-poly 3D meshes, materials and texturing, skeletal rigging and skinning, and animation. From there, students will apply these concepts to construct game characters and interactive worlds. In addition, this course will cover optimization techniques and exporting assets. The name of the course is correct on the catalog and SPA but needs changed on the checksheet. The course description needs to be updated as we do not teach Maya anymore. We also do not use the Organic Motion system anymore in the motion capture lab as well have moved to an Optitrack system.
