CS 482 Applied Machine Learning

This course provides a theoretical and a practical understanding of machine learning techniques. It offers the concepts, the intuitions, and the tools the students need to actually implement programs capable of learning from data. A large number of techniques is covered, from the simplest and most commonly used such as linear regression to some of the Deep Learning techniques. The course materials are supported with hands-on sessions using contemporary machine learning tools.
