Italian Minor
The Italian Program within the Department of Languages & Literature focuses on developing students’ linguistic abilities, cultural understanding, and critical thinking. Courses draw on varied sources such as literary and non-literary texts, film, art and music, and technology in order to engage students in an evolving global community.
For students who begin college study at the beginning (IT 101 and IT 102) or intermediate levels (IT 151 and IT 152), the Italian minor requires the completion of 18 credits. For students who begin college study at the advanced level (IT 201 or above), the minor requires the completion of 12 credits.
