SLP 699 Advanced Topics in Communication Disorders
This course will address advanced topics in speech-language pathology, as part of study toward a Specialty Certificate. Students will participate in a participant-led seminar in which emerging topics in the field of study are researched and presented, and evidence-based practice strategies are identified and demonstrated. Topics to be addressed with include pediatric medical practice, practice with students with severe communication disorders, and relations between language and literacy. Seminar format.
