PT 611 Structure & Function I
This course involves the self-directed acquisition of knowledge of musculoskeletal structure and function. This case-based course will cover the structure and function of the normal and impaired musculoskeletal system. Normal anatomy and biomechanics will be examined in the context of patient cases with common musculoskeletal problems to understand the tissue and organ stressors (including environmental interaction, aging, and disease processes) that result in physiological responses that may then lead to impairments of the human movement system.
