SW 278 Junior Field Practicum

Generalist internship, typically two full days each week in a human service organization, school, or another community setting, wherein students experience professional practice under the supervision of social work professionals.

Prerequisite: SW 265 Social Welfare Policy I, SW 267 Human Behavior & the Social Environment I, SW 275 Social Work Practice I, and departmental evaluation for admission to Intermediate Major status.

Corequisite: SW 279 Junior Field Practicum Seminar.
